Academic Record

The University of Toronto does not issue unofficial transcripts.  You can view and print your complete academic history by logging into ACORN and visiting the Academic History page.

IPR will appear if a course has finished but an approved grade/mark is not yet available. Please allow for additional time between the completion of your course(s) and the posting of your grades/marks to your official academic record. Be sure to check your academic history on ACORN before placing your transcript order to ensure your academic record is complete and your grades/marks are up to date. Please note, year-long courses (Y courses) that span the Fall and Winter terms will remain IPR in the Fall. The final grade/mark will appear on your transcript in the Winter term.

Please allow for additional time between your convocation ceremony and the posting of your degree information to your official academic record. Be sure to check your academic history on ACORN before placing your transcript order to ensure your degree information is on your academic record.

Ordering will be disabled on ACORN for students/alumni with a financial or administrative hold on their record. You must clear the hold on your record before you are able to order a transcript in ACORN. For more information about holds, please see the Service and Operational Policies page.

General Inquiries (eTranscript)

The eTranscript’s security feature will automatically add a watermark that reads “Copy of Official Transcript” when printed. Please order a paper transcript if you need a physical version of your official transcript.

Like a paper transcript, the eTranscript is a snap shot of your complete academic record at the time of its production. The eTranscript does not automatically update as your record changes in the future. Be sure to check your academic history on ACORN before placing your transcript order to ensure your academic record is complete.

The University of Toronto eTranscript’s security features do not allow it to be combined with other PDF documents. If you wish to send someone a copy of your eTranscript, send the secure PDF as a separate attachment.
