Order an eTranscript for the fastest processing and delivery time. eTranscripts are typically processed and delivered within a half hour or less!
To cancel your transcript order, contact the University Registrar’s Office. Please note, if the your paper transcript has already been produced, or your eTranscript order has already been transmitted to the intended recipient, your order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
eTranscript: You can attach additional documents to your eTranscript order using the “Attachment” feature on the Order Details page of the University of Toronto Parchment Storefront. Attachments will be securely delivered to the intended recipient in a separate email as uploaded by the user.
Paper Transcript: You can upload a tracking form with your paper transcript order on ACORN. Please note, the University Registrar’s Office. does not complete tracking forms attached to paper transcript orders and they will be sent ‘as-is’ to the intended recipient. All other documents submitted with your paper transcript will not be sent. If you require a tracking form to be completed, please contact your registrar’s office. For in person orders, you can provide the completed tracking form at the time of placing the order with a Transcript Centre staff member.

This service is for prospective employers and other educational institutions to verify the credentials of University of Toronto graduates. This minimizes the risk of credential fraud and protects our graduates from the illicit use of their designations by others.
PLEASE NOTE that the University Registrar’s Office, does NOT verify transcripts, diploma or student academic records.
You must place a new order. You had your e-transcript delivered to the University of Toronto – Enrolment Service inbox and not to yourself. If you require a copy for yourself, you must click on the link below the search box (or send to yourself, another individual or third party). You will be redirected to a page where you can manually enter your information. Visit our website www.transcripts.utoronto.ca/ordering for instructional videos on how to order.
Once a document has been delivered to the recipient it cannot be redirected nor refunded
There is no form to sign. Upload a copy of your government issued photo ID to your Parchment account.
If you have already submitted a transcript order but have not completed the consent process, or had previously provided the wrong consent document, please login to the University of Toronto Parchment Storefront and click My Account in the top menu. At the bottom of the My Account page, there is a section to upload the required documentation to complete the consent process.
Once you have uploaded valid government photo identification, contact office.
Please allow 1 – 2 business days for us to verify your information and process your order after you have set up your account (uploaded your Government issued photo ID). If your order is still on hold after 3 business days, contact our office.
Completing your program is not the same as graduating. Officially graduating happens after convocation. (Please note you’re not required to attend the convocation ceremony to graduate.) Check your academic history on Acorn under Registration History. Your degree will appear along with the month and year, and/or contact your registrar for assistance.
A Pre-Authorization hold was placed on your credit card by Parchment and could take anywhere from 7-14 business days to clear depending on your financial provider.
What is a credit card authorization hold? An authorization or pre-authorization hold occurs when a merchant verifies that sufficient funds are available in your account for an electronic transaction. They put a temporary lock on a certain amount of your balance until you settle the payment.
Select Graduate, if you would like a transcript reflecting ONLY graduate level studies taken with the School of Graduate Studies (e.g., MA, PhD).
Select All, if you would like your complete transcript (undergraduate and graduate studies). Please note, if you have completed a professional program/degree with a Division other than the School of Graduate Studies (e.g., DDS, MD), please select ALL.

Academic Record
The University of Toronto does not issue unofficial transcripts. You can view and print your complete academic history by logging into ACORN and visiting the Academic History page.
IPR will appear if a course has finished but an approved grade/mark is not yet available. Please allow for additional time between the completion of your course(s) and the posting of your grades/marks to your official academic record. Be sure to check your academic history on ACORN before placing your transcript order to ensure your academic record is complete and your grades/marks are up to date. Please note, year-long courses (Y courses) that span the Fall and Winter terms will remain IPR in the Fall. The final grade/mark will appear on your transcript in the Winter term.
Please allow for additional time between your convocation ceremony and the posting of your degree information to your official academic record. Be sure to check your academic history on ACORN before placing your transcript order to ensure your degree information is on your academic record.
Ordering will be disabled on ACORN for students/alumni with a financial or administrative hold on their record. You must clear the hold on your record before you are able to order a transcript in ACORN. For more information about holds, please see the Service and Operational Policies page.
General Inquiries (eTranscript)
The eTranscript’s security feature will automatically add a watermark that reads “Copy of Official Transcript” when printed. Please order a paper transcript if you need a physical version of your official transcript.
Like a paper transcript, the eTranscript is a snap shot of your complete academic record at the time of its production. The eTranscript does not automatically update as your record changes in the future. Be sure to check your academic history on ACORN before placing your transcript order to ensure your academic record is complete.
The University Registrar eTranscript’s security features do not allow it to be combined with other PDF documents. If you wish to send someone a copy of your eTranscript, send the secure PDF as a separate attachment.
Account (eTranscript)
A: If you don’t have ACORN access because you don’t have a UTORid, you can create an account directly on the Parchment Storefront. To do so, you must complete the consent process by uploading a valid government issued photo ID along with your first order. Once your consent is approved, your order will be processed and your account will be set-up for future ordering.
We require valid government issued photo ID to complete the account creation process on the Parchment Storefront. See the Service and Operational Policies page for a list of accepted documents.
Please upload a scanned image, or a high resolution photo, of your valid government photo identification using the upload button on the Consent Page in the Parchment Storefront. Uploaded images will need to be processed by the University Registrar’s Office before your transcript(s) can be released. Please allow for additional processing time after the consent is submitted.

A student number is not required to create an account on the Parchment Storefront. If you would like to know your student number, please contact your registrar’s office for assistance.
Order Status (eTranscript)
If your eTranscript order was cancelled by a University of Toronto administrator for any reason, a delivery status update will be sent to your email with details of your order cancellation. Please note, for orders placed through ACORN, emails are sent to your UTORmail account (@mail.utoronto.ca or @alumni.utoronto.ca).
Your eTranscript order may be on hold for several reasons:
- You did not completed the consent process. If you just created an account on the Parchment Storefront (i.e., you don’t have a UTORid) and this is the first time you’ve submitted an order, your order may be on hold while we wait for you to complete the consent process. Once we have received and approved your consent, the hold will be cleared, and your order will be processed.
- You have academic activities older than September of 1998 on your record. If you completed courses and programs before the 1998-Fall term, your order may be on hold while we put your complete academic record together. Please allow for 2 or more additional business days of processing.
- You have a financial or administrative hold on your academic record. For information about a financial hold, contact our office. If it has been determined that the hold was placed by the Office of Student Accounts you can contact them here. If you have outstanding library fines you can pay your fines online on the Library website. For information on how to clear your administrative hold please contact your registrar’s office.
Be sure to check the status of your eTranscript order on the Parchment Storefront by clicking Order Status in the main menu. You will also receive an email notification with details of the hold status.
Recipients of the eTranscript should check their spam/junk mail folder in their email account for the transcript order. eTranscripts sent on behalf of the University of Toronto by Parchment Inc. will come from the email address, noreply@parchment.com, with the subject line, “University of Toronto : Parchment Send Service :: Document #”.
eTranscripts are available for download for 20 calendar days. Please contact the requester of the transcript or our office for assistance.
