Transcript Processing Times
Transcripts ordered before 2 p.m. are generally sent out on the same business day.
Transcripts ordered after 2 p.m. are generally sent out on the next business day.
Students or alumni who have registrations prior to September 1998 must allow for an additional 3 to 4 business days as these records are not fully recorded on the student record system (ACORN/ROSI).
You may have your transcript mailed directly to the recipient or you may have it mailed to you in a signed and sealed envelope. Transcripts are mailed to any destination in the world at no extra charge. Check with Canada Post for estimated delivery times.
Transcripts may be sent via FedEx Courier Services for an additional charge. Delivery is normally within 1-5 business days depending on the destination. Once your transcript has been ordered and all fees paid, you will receive a FedEx tracking number and estimated delivery date (when possible).An additional fee for this service will be added to the total cost as follows:All prices in Canadian Dollars (CDN)

For courier deliveries, please note that transcripts cannot be sent to a Post Office Box.You must have a complete mailing address (including street name and number, room #, apartment #, or buzzer if applicable). A signature is required for all deliveries, please ensure someone is available to sign.
FedEx will impose an additional fee if the address is incomplete or you change it after your initial order is made. Undeliverable transcripts will be destroyed at the student’s expense with no refunds.

For pick up at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) and University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) allow an extra 2 to 3 business days for delivery. Transcripts are sent out to UTM and UTSC on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Transcripts ordered between Wednesday 3 pm and Monday 2:45 pm are sent out on the following Tuesday. Transcripts ordered between Mondays 3 pm and Wednesday 2:45 pm are sent out on the following Thursday morning.
If the student/alumnus is collecting their transcript they must show photo ID before it is released to them (a U of T student card is acceptable). Transcripts picked up on behalf of students will only be released if the Transcript Centre has received a Transcript Pick up Authorization Form completed by the student/alumnus.
Transcripts for pick up that have not been collected will be destroyed after 6 months. No refund will be issued for these transcripts.
